DMV Child ID Required to Play Sharks Tackle Football

If you have registered your child to play Sharks Tackle Football, you must obtain a Virginia DMV Children’s ID or you will not be eligible to participate in the mandatory NVYFL weigh-ins.   It is important that you go to the DMV NOW, because it could take 10-14 days to receive the ID in the mail.  DMV no longer issues ID on Site.

It is a requirement of Northern Virginia Youth Football League (Former FCYFL) that each player MUST have a valid CHILD ID CARD  issued by Virginia when they get weighed in.A Military ID  or passport is NOT acceptable for identification purposes.  The ID may take two weeks to arrive since the Virginia DMV no longer issues the ID's on site, it will be delivered by mail, to your primary resident.  Please obtain your ID as soon as you can or you will not be allowed to participate in the mandatory weigh in process that is a requirement to play with the MYFL and NVYFL

 IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A CHILD ID CARD, you need to check the expiration date to be sure that it doesn't expire before October 1st
