MYFL Sharks Fall Tackle Football Season
2024 Fall Registration is Open!!!
The Sharks have a traditional tackle football program that begins in August and runs no later than the middle of November. Our football league is a USA Footballl® Member League and member of the Northern Virginia Youth Football League/Fairfax County Youth Football League which is one of the largest and most respected football leagues in the Unites States.
Our league strives to teach the skills that children need to play football safely and they will also need to play football safely as they advance through youth league and high school.
Flag Football
Flag Football is played in the spring only, starting at the beginning of April through the middle of June and is a less vigorous sport than tackle football. with only one or two practices a week and games on normally on Sundays.
Flag football is open to both boys and girls of all abilities and is non-contact. Playing age for Sharks Flag Football is Age 5 through age 15 (Age on December 31, 2023). We especially recommend Flag football for the child that has never played previously played football or any other organized sport, or for the child that loves football but is afraid of the contact that is associated with tackle football.
